Nancy understands the emotions associated with being charged with a DWI. She provides individuals with pre- and post- trial assessments, educational classes, and short and longer term treatment. Depending on the recommendations of the DWI Assessment, an individual may qualify for ADETS, Short term or Longer term treatment to regain their driving privileges.
DWI TREATMENT OPTIONS:
ADETS (Alcohol & Drug Traffic School) : a minimum of 16 hours of classroom instruction, if a person meets the following criteria and does not have a substance use disorder:
(1) The person has not had another DWI conviction anywhere,
(2) The person’s BAC was 0.14% or less, and
(3) The person did not refuse to submit to a chemical test.
Short term: minimum of 20 hours of treatment that must last over a period of 30 days.
Longer term: a minimum of 40 hours of treatment that must last over a period of 60 days.
